This summer was mostly spent studying for NCLEX which paid off cuz i PASSED!!! yay =)
The fun part was my coosins coming over! They stayed here for 2 weeks which was spent playing XBOX (DDR, Fusion Frenzy, & Halo), shopping, NYC, and AC (went riding on jetski again!)
Nel & I have dated for 7 years =)

Nel & i went to see rexxy last night at NJPAC! Rhythmology, Warhol Soup, and Ciello Rhythm opened up for him. I thought it would be a packed show because it showed online that there were no seats left, but it wasn't really. Rexxy was funny as usual and we bought both of his DVDs which he signed. He's awesome! hahaha

for me, i'm just busy studying like the usual. there's nothing going on really but just the usual - hanging out with some people when i get the chance. on the other hand, my boyfriend went home to philippines for two weeks & i really miss his arse! lol. k i just had to get the last part out! LOL

How was everyone's easter this year? As for me, I went to nel's job in NY and i just stayed in his office, studying. It was pretty fun considering I had to wake up at 630am resulting in me falling asleep for 2 hours! HAHA. We were gonna go to church in St. Patrick's but when we called to check the times, they said that we had to pay to sit in the church for the mass? What church makes their attendees pay to sit during mass, especially in EASTER?!?!?! LOL
Besides that, I came home to this picture in my gmail account. It's from nelly's mom and I think it's really cute! HEHE

lenten promises unshackled

After my class, we picked up some friends from Chinatown to have dinner @ Lemongrass Grill. However, we took the wrong bridge and ended up in Brooklyn. To our disbelief, we saw a sign for Peter Luger Steak House! Nel has been talking about going to PLSH for so long because he heard that their steaks were #1. Anyway, Nel made a lenten promise not to eat any meat for lent so he was torned of whether to eat there or not. But, I kinda used my charm to convince him so he decided to break his lenten promise! LOL . I know i'm the bad girlfriend but he made me break my lenten promise, which i can't say here, 3 weeks ago! So, it's only fair ... haha ... Anyway, the steak was amazing! It was the first time i've ever seen TJ quiet and Nel eat slow(He's known to finish his meal in 3 minutes..haha). As for the girls, we had this tingling, high feeling after we ate our steak. Mind you, that we didn't have alcohol with our meal. So, you can just imagine how good it was! HAHA!
Then, Nel had a brilliant idea of going to Junior's Cheesecake (P. Diddy's favorite place for cheesecake) for some dessert! However, Essa made a lenten promise of not eating sweets! So, we had a dilemma. To go or not to go? But we ended up going! HAHA! Nel got my family a small pie of strawberry cheesecake and TJ got the larger pie for his family. OMG it was so freakin yummy! HAHA. Essa didn't end up getting any cheesecake so her lenten promise was still in locked.
After, we went to Edgewater to watch Inside Man. We had some time before the movie started, so Nel & I just played video games while TJ & Es were on a rampage buying fruit shakes, milk shakes, ice cream shakes! Es ended up with 2 shakes so her lenten promise was unshackled! HAHA. Anyhoo, the movie was okay. The plot was very predictable so I gave it a B-.

THE END =)

My only regret for the night was not bringing my camera to capture everything! Other than that, it was the most random but yummiest outing ever =P

failure to launch

Ya'll gotta watch Failure to Launch because it was really funny how they portrayed single, middle aged, men still living at home. Sarah Jessica Parker was OK in this movie but I certainly liked her outfits! hehe

However, some of the scenes were too short in my opinion. I wish they extended the story line a little more in some scenes because I felt like they rushed it. Anyways, I give it a B b/c it was funny.

Zooey Deschanel was the funniest I think!

espn bar, avenue q, & karaoke - part 3

After Avenue Q, we decided to go back to NJ and karaoke! It was really fun! I think the highlight of the night was Nel & TJ singing to Michael Jackson's, "Bad!"

Just before watching Avenue Q, we went to the ESPN Bar to get some warmth from the freezing weather and play some games while we waited for our turn to get a table. Nel & TJ played basketball and baseball. Then, Essa & I teamed up to play air hockey twice (the coolest game ever!) against Nel & TJ. I'm sorry to say this, but the guys won! *sigh* ... However, it was mad fun! After an hour or so, our buzzer for the table finally vibrated! The food was aiight! We had mini hamburgers for appetizer and we had this cookie in a skillet for dessert ... that was muy delicioso! hehe :o)

So, it was time to watch Avenue Q Broadway. IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING AND HILARIOUS! From start to finish, all I did was laugh. Also, the leading guy (Barett Foa) is hot! However, when Essa & I researched him online we found that he was gay. *sigh* For some reason, all the hot guys seem to be gay these days! oY! Whatever! He'll still be hot in my eyes! We took a picture with the them too! How lucky are we :o)

I can't wait to hit another broadway show! I'm addicted as hell! hehehe ... So here are my ratings for the broadway shows I've seen so far:
